Our Story
While They Sleep Coffee was born in the darkness, both literally and figuratively.
I was sitting in the office at 3AM with dry, tired eyes staring at my computer screen, during yet another 80+ hour work week, when everything paused, and the idea hit me. For years I had been burning the candle at both ends, and it had become my normal. Rising before the sun, chasing fitness goals, pushing professional ambitions, raising a family, and working late into the night, weekends and holidays non-negotiable. As crazy as it sounds, I hated it and loved it at the same time.
I was making real progress in my life, but something important was missing. Growing up, creative expression had always set my soul on fire, drawing, videography, photography. Yet through all the grinding and focusing on everything else, I had neglected the young boy who just wanted to make something cool.
Then I took my first sip of cold brew, and a spark was lit.
What started as a quick taste quickly turned into an obsession. For years I chased the perfect cup, trying variations I came across. This eventually led to brewing my own at home, and even using a TDS meter to dial in the exact strength I wanted. Cold brew fueled my early mornings, late nights, and everything in between.
But the more I drank it, the more frustrated I became. I was tired of long lines, tired of inconsistent taste, and tired of paying premium prices for watered-down disappointment in a plastic cup.
So I decided to do something about it.
After more than a year of formulation, trial and error, and countless taste tests, I created a bold, shelf-stable canned cold brew that delivers the same strong, smooth taste every single time. Because I wanted to own every creative detail, I designed everything myself, from the branding and logo to the can, color palette and recipe. I’m genuinely stoked to finally share it with you.
